The Mission Ridge Ski Education Foundation Board of Directors is committed to providing means of financial assistance to MRSEF athletes in order for them to pursue ski racing. These Scholarships are designed to provide critical funds for qualified athletes who otherwise would be unable to finance their ski racing ambitions.
Scholarships: A request for funds to offset MRST tuition and camps. Funds for scholarships are available for YSL 1 Day and above programs.
Scholarship Application Time Period: Applications will be accepted beginning October 1 and completed applications for program tuition scholarships must be submitted by November 15 of each year.
Applications for camp tuition scholarships must be submitted by May 1 of each year. (Consideration for late invitations to projects will be considered.)
Scholarship Limits: Individuals may request up to $1,500 per year for YSL athletes, and up to $3,000 per year to U14, U16 and FIS athletes.
Distribution of Scholarship Funds: Awarded funds will be applied to the members MRSEF account or paid to the event hosting organization. Funds are not to be paid directly to the athlete or family member nor credited to the members account for any purpose other than that stated in the Scholarship Application. Reimbursement to members accounts for fees already paid are to be considered outside the scope of the scholarship program.
Please allow a minimum of 14 days for the scholarship committee to respond to all requests.
